Zoysia ‘Cashmere’ | Japanese Zoysia Grass
The experience of walking on this seaside patch of Japanese Zoysia can best be described as ‘Zen’ if you are an adult and absolute ‘fun’ if you are a kindergartner. Left unmown by a homeowner who is keen on barefoot walks, these delicate tufts of soft-bladed Cashmere are over two feet in height in some areas, providing the sensation of walking on clouds as you sink and bounce along the soft billowy mounds. The look of this untamed lawn is particularly attractive in casual landscapes, against native plinths of limestone walls or in between large stepping stone slabs.
